Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technical professional in the United States (PA) to support and document tests on products, systems, and components. You will design test methods, procure fixtures, and assist in setup and post-test teardown while working a 4th shift under general supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing with electronics equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies) and collaboration to meet customer requirements, including vibration and thermal cycling tests as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, a technical certificate or 1+ year of equivalent tech experience.
• Must be able to work 4th (overnight) shift.
• 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Experience with electronics test equipment (scope, DVM, power supplies) preferred.
• Experience with environmental stress screening including vibration and thermal cycling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials and processes.
• Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
• Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.
• Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities.
• Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down.
• Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results.
• Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
• Works under general supervision.
