Qualifications

• MS/MA/BS/BA degree required.
• NYS Licensure required.
• MT (ASCP) registered or eligible or equivalent.
• Two years of clinical laboratory work after graduation (MS/MA).
• Four years of clinical laboratory work after graduation (BS/BA).

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision within a defined shift.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance for the section; assist the Technical Director in the consolidation and standardization of laboratory testing.
• Act as liaison for the Laboratory and Nursing & Medical staffs.
• Act as the Quality Systems Manager for a specific site or area of responsibility, perform and document QA activities as defined by Laboratory Administrative and Medical Leadership.
