Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Tucker, GA, seeks a Lab Assistant II for a Wednesday to Sunday night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). The role involves routine lab tasks to support the lab staff and ensure accurate production.

Pay starts at $17.75 per hour with potential shift differentials of 10% or 15% for certain hours. Eligible employees may receive annual bonus and extensive benefits from day one. The position requires one year of lab experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• One year full-time experience in a technical or clinical laboratory.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIS.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Florida only required).

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen receiving, labeling, handling and preparation.
• Assist with pre-analytical preparation of specimens and load automated instruments.
• Record digital temperature and notify licensed personnel if out of range.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance on some equipment.
• Enter data in laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Perform QA/QC duties as assigned.
