Job summary

Enloe Health in Northern California is seeking a Lab Assistant I (CPT I) to collect blood samples for laboratory testing, performing venipuncture and capillary draws. The role requires a current Phlebotomy Certificate CPT I from the California Department of Public Health and basic laboratory experience.

Shifts are nights, with a 10-hour length. Education of college science courses is preferred, and experience in a lab environment is desirable.

• Follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Be aware of chemical hygiene protocols and handling requirements of biohazard materials.
• Know and follow all universal precautions and be familiar with blood drawing safety devices.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
