Job summary

ENL Laboratory in Northern California seeks a Lab Assistant I (CPT I) to collect blood samples for laboratory testing, routinely performing venipuncture and capillary blood draws. Must hold a current Phlebotomy CPT I certificate issued by the California DPCH; college science coursework and prior lab experience are desirable.

Nights shift, 10 hours, with variable days off. Compensation ranges from $23.65 to $30.28 per hour, based on experience, with benefits and a focus on compassionate,

Qualifications

• Must possess current Phlebotomy CPT I certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• Laboratory experience or coursework is preferred.

Minimum

• Current Phlebotomy Certificate CPT I issued by the California Department of Public Health.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Basic computer skills. Must be aware of chemical hygiene protocols, and handling requirements of biohazard materials. Must know and follow all universal precautions and be familiar with blood drawing safety devices. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
