Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned Server/Systems Test Engineer in California to support extended factory hours, review dashboards, and diagnose server platforms. You will collaborate with design teams and contract manufacturers to ensure test plans are followed and issues are triaged efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in EE/CE with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong Linux command line skills, and a solid understanding of system architecture and networking.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in EE/CE.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience (server systems).
• Familiarity with Linux command line.
• General understanding of system architecture and networking (compute trays, switch trays, TOR switches, power shelves).
• Ability to run pretest scripts and diags on test fixtures.
• Ability to review logfiles and make initial triage decisions based on docs from Product Development Engineering.
• Ability to interface with multiple cross-functional team members at Nvidia and its contract manufacturers.
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and service spirit.

Responsibilities

• Work night, swing and weekend shifts to support extended factory operations hours.
• Review build dashboards to analyze throughput, yields and failure paretos.
• Debug server platforms per published guidelines; perform minor rework, retest and recover units.
• Publish clear daily status and build reports.
• Analyze failures and provide next-step triage instructions on failed units.
• Maintain high test throughput during off hours and resolve roadblocks.
• Collaborate with CM Test Engineers and operators to ensure factory assembly and test plans are followed.
