Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts in Roswell, NM. You will care for laboring patients, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and support newborns and lactation needs in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires at least 1 year in L&D, current BLS and NRP, and Epic charting experience, with preference for charge nurse background. Enjoy comprehensive benefits and travel support through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and support during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Assist with circumcision and assess post-operative sites.
• Conduct newborn assessments and monitor for conditions such as hypoglycemia.
• Support breastfeeding and lactation needs of new mothers.
• Manage triage of obstetrical patients and couplet care with newborns.
