Qualifications

- Must obtain AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months; recertify every 2 years.
- 3–4 years of labor and delivery experience required.
- Night shift experience preferred; occasional day coverage may be needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor, delivery, and postpartum units.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Assist with deliveries and perform postpartum assessments.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergencies per hospital policies and protocols.
- Support team coverage on occasional day shifts as needed.
