Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-level nursing care during 7:00 pm–7:00 am shifts. This PRN Tier 2 role requires a flexible schedule and applies to the 12 hours per week commitment.

The RN must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold a current Texas RN license or eligibility, BLS certification, and have at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• At least 1 year of L&D RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes teamwork using communication and collaboration.
• Administers medications and IVs safely and accurately.
• Provides patient and family education throughout the episode of care.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
