Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs the preparation of food items on assigned and scheduled menus.
• Adheres to food production and usage schedules and avoids waste.
• Labels and stores food items/leftovers after use; monitors refrigerators for spoilage.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assists with meal service setup and tray delivery to residents.
• Maintains daily care of kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Notifies supervisor of shortages or discrepancies in food supplies.
