Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year experience with cleaning equipment and processes.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a related field.
• TWIC within 30 days of hire or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties required of a janitor or other assigned employee.
• Is accountable for meeting all obligations of assigned employees.
• Promotes NMS Core Values in the workplace.
• Helps direct and guide assigned housekeeping and janitorial staff.
• Follows client-directed site guidelines and procedures.
• Helps train new staff and provides ongoing training to existing staff.
• Regularly conducts inspections to maintain service quality.
• Coordinates equipment care and maintenance.
• Ensures staff meet quality standards and procedures.
• Resolves minor maintenance or client emergencies or takes steps to address them.
• Assists employees in resolving work-related difficulties.
• Identifies, resolves or reports safety hazards.
• Uses safe work practices and PPE.
• Cleans and restocks various areas including kitchens and offices.
• Operates cleaning equipment for all floor types.
