Qualifications

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors and fixtures.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean and supply restrooms.
• May move furniture or equipment and extract carpet (small jobs).
• Prepare cleaning solutions and properly use cleaning equipment.
• Monitor and report facility issues requiring repairs.
