Job summary

Innovative Facility Services (IFS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join a fast-paced, growing team. This full-time role offers a union environment and potential leadership opportunities within a large North American facility services provider.

As a 30+ hour per week employee, you’ll help maintain clean facilities, follow safety rules, and support various cleaning tasks across shifts. Benefits include health, life, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to follow detailed but routine instructions.
• Good communication skills with staff and public.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance documents (English; may include Spanish as required).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, fixtures, machines and other equipment.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean and supply restrooms.
• May move furniture or other items; may extract carpet.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications; monitor and report facility issues.
