Job summary

IFS is seeking a General Cleaner in New Jersey to support our fast-paced janitorial team. The role includes cleaning rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, with shifts that may include days and nights and weekends.

Benefits may include health insurance and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Responsibilities include trash removal, recycling, window cleaning, dusting, and logging daily tasks for supervisor review.

Qualifications

• Regular lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures (English; Spanish where required).
• Teamwork and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris, and clean spills on sales floor and seating areas.
• Empty trash and properly sort recycling in all site areas.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills; polish stainless surfaces.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and report work done to supervisor daily.
