ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, is hiring janitors for full- and part-time roles at the Sysco facility in Charlotte, NC. The work involves keeping buildings clean and orderly and performing heavy cleaning duties as needed.

Schedule varies with nights from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am; requires cleaning experience. Fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour, and online applications are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and returns it to proper placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with available materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpets.
• Performs tasks per supervisor instructions and adheres to federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Associates may be eligible for paid/unpaid time off per laws.
