Job summary
Village Lane RX is a growing, patient-centered closed-door pharmacy offering sterile compounding and hormone-related therapies. The Pharmacy Technician role supports multistate operations, ensuring accurate data entry, inventory control, and compliant, safe medication handling for mail-delivered prescriptions.
Night shift availability with competitive hourly compensation, plus differential for evening to early-morning hours.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist Technician License.
- IV Sterile Compounding Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in sterile compounding.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday AM Shift 2:30pm to 11:00PM or 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescriptions safely and efficiently.
- Follow all state and federal regulations.
- Input prescription information into the pharmacy system accurately.
- Assist with inventory management and clean room procedures.
- Prepare prescriptions for mail delivery and assemble packaging for mailed prescriptions.
- Contact patients prior to filling their medications.
- Apply all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations in daily work.
- Organize and present inventory data to pharmacist staff.
