Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to operate MHE, count and relocate inventory, and manage records within a safety-conscious warehouse environment.

This full-time role requires basic computer skills, RF scanning, and proficiency with WMS systems. The position supports supervisors and adheres to all policies, with a night shift 2B 6:00pm–6:30am schedule in New Albany, IN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution.
• Ability to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Return material from customer to factory and transfer material to appropriate area.
• Relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations.
• Safe use of all equipment and report progress to supervisor/management.
• Follow company policies, maintain records and conduct cycle counts when required.
• Assist in daily start-up and safety audits as needed.
• Use PC for e-mail and reporting as required.
