Job summary

Jabil Florence, KY is seeking a floor‑level Lead to drive daily shipping and warehouse execution. You will oversee packaging, system transactions, inventory accuracy, and timely shipments while coordinating with workcells and carriers.

In this hands‑on role you will coach teammates, escalate issues to APS, assist onboarding and training, and support continuous improvement through Lean and 5S practices to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–3 years shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
• Lead or coordinating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily shipping and kitting activities to meet schedule, quality, and accuracy targets.
• Utilize required systems (AES, Carrier Networks, TMS, BOL creation/retention) to support shipments.
• Perform SAP transactions and ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements.
• Coordinate daily shipping activities with workcells and carrier schedules.
• Support cut‑off times, delivery commitments, and shipment prioritization.
• Assign and direct daily tasks for team members based on production needs.
• Provide real‑time guidance, coaching, and support on the floor.
• Act as first point of contact for operational issues; escalate larger concerns to APS.
• Assist with onboarding and training of employees; help reinforce standard work.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor workflow and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or risks to shipment schedules.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
