Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. has an opportunity for an Inventory Control Clerk (Stores, BN) at our Fab 4 facility in Gresham, Oregon. The Inventory Control Clerk position supports factory operations by receiving, stocking and delivering parts and supplies.

This includes both the physical transportation of materials and maintaining electronic and hard copy records. The organization is responsible for maintaining an optimal inventory of parts, materials and supplies to support 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 2+ years of work experience.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work with others or independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data-entry skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock and deliver parts and materials according to procedures.
• Maintain inventory records and perform FIFO checks and cycle counts.
• Process POs and ensure accuracy of documentation and data entry.
• Operate lifting devices (forklift, pallet jack) and prepare shipments.
• Coordinate with Supply Management to expedite parts and manage stock levels.
