Job summary

PCI Group is seeking an Inserting Operator to produce inserted materials per Standard Work Processes in Irving, TX. This full-time role reports to the Insert Operations Manager and supports quality and efficiency goals through proactive machine operation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities include following procedures, operating and maintaining inserting equipment, completing QC logs, and coordinating with related departments while ensuring safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of workflows.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work procedures.
• Make ready, operate, maintain and troubleshoot the inserting process as needed.
• Follow QC procedures and complete logs, paperwork, checklists and computer functions (MRDF, DCS) per standard processes.
• Collaborate with Assistant Operator to ensure finished materials are processed properly.
• Understand machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality.
• Maintain workflow efficiency by evaluating processes at each stage of production.
• Perform preventative maintenance, proper setup, routine inserting, inspections, and adjustments as needed.
• Interact with other departments (Pressroom, Mail Dispatch, Warehouse, Shipping, Technicians).
• Ensure safety, OSHA standards, 5S cleanliness, and drive continuous improvements.
