Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale is seeking an Inprocess Inspector for the Conditioning department at our Monroe, NC facility. You will participate in identifying surface defects, confirming sizing tolerances, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality checks.

The role requires basic math, ability to read measuring devices, and the stamina to operate a grinder on a rotating night schedule (6:00 pm–6:00 am, 2-2-3). High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect surface of material and identify defects using dye penetrant.
• Mark defects for grinding and remove defects with a hand grinder when required.
• Weigh, band, mark, stamp and identify material after re-grinding; check dimensions and surface quality.
• Follow safety regulations and report unusual conditions to supervision.
