Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for night shifts. Eligible candidates can receive a hiring incentive up to $23,500.

The position starts at a minimum rate of $41.41 per hour, with higher rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, direct patient care, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years-Clinical (Required)

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care as established in unit standards including patient and family education, discharge planning.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based on patient response.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
