Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting. You will develop and update individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team and collaborate with patients and families.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement, with potential weekend/holiday/on-call work.

Qualifications

Education - Associate degree in Nursing.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
In lieu of one year RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency accepted.
In lieu of Associate degree, nursing diploma with licensure accepted.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and health care team.
Updates the plan as patient's condition changes and communicates changes to the team.
Delegates nursing tasks appropriately and ensures completion of assignments.
Monitors quality of care and participates in performance improvement.
Documents progress toward outcomes and communicates with the health care team.
Ensures written and oral communication supports patient/family care needs.
