Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advises about medications, therapy, dosing, and monitoring to support patient care.
• Verifies physician orders for safe and effective therapy and formulary compliance.
• Physician orders may be entered into hospital information systems as approved.
• Ensures timely completion and accuracy of all work including technicians.
• Maintains readiness of emergency carts and handles dispensing and storage of medications.
• Compounds and dispenses pharmaceutical products with proper labeling and documentation.
