Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. in Boston is seeking a per diem Staff Nurse to support 3 East, a 26-bed medical unit serving adults and geriatrics with CHF, COPD, HTN, diabetes, renal disorders and other complex conditions.

The RN will plan and provide patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care and participate in discharge planning, with a patient- and family-centered care approach. Evening and night shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; MA RN licensure required.
• BLS certification preferred; medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate observational skills and set priorities.
• A commitment to ICare standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Demonstrate initiative and clinical skills for complex patients.
• Ensure Patient and Family Centered Care in care delivery.
