Children's Mercy is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for the inpatient setting on the night shift. The role involves direct patient care, crisis intervention, and close collaboration with licensed behavioral health professionals to support patients with mental and behavioral health needs in the 5 West inpatient unit and related areas.

The BHT will participate in 1:1 safety-focused care, assist in medical care coordination, and help promote positive interactions while ensuring a safe

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a behavioral health-related field.
• HS diploma with healthcare-related experience acceptable.
• Completion of a hospital-approved behavior management program within 90 days of hire.

• Demonstrates judgment to deliver safe care for patients with behavioral health needs.
