Job summary

Baptist Health LaGrange is seeking a PRN Night shift RN for its new inpatient behavioral health unit (7p–7a). The role supports adults 18+ in a 11-bed unit with an interdisciplinary team, including RNs, MHTs, social workers, and psychiatrists. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required. Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of Kentucky or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• Behavioral health experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Implement patient and family education plan
• Assist the RN with patient assessment
• Communicate the patient’s status to peers, supervisors, and the patient’s physician as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented nursing care
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations during duties
