Job summary

Baptist Health’s Behavioral Health Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time night shift at the Downtown Main Building.

As an RN, you will apply the nursing process, coordinate care with the team, involve families in care planning, and educate patients about their conditions and the plan of care while advocating for patients across multiple medical needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in Florida or state of practice.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months for Adult EDs.
• PALS required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Includes patients and significant others in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Education of patients/ significant others to their disease process and plan of care.
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
