Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required or obtained.
• Experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends and holidays as PRN.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient and family education plan.
• Assist the RN with patient assessment.
• Communicate patient status to peers, supervisors, and physician as appropriate.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care.
• Ensure nursing care complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
