Job summary

Configure is seeking an Injection Molding Operator to support our North Baltimore, OH manufacturing line. You will operate molding machines, launch new molds, and drive productivity improvements while ensuring first piece approvals meet engineering standards.

You will train teammates, maintain equipment, and collaborate with shifts to keep uptime and quality high. Prior Wittmann robot experience is a plus and a commitment to safe, efficient operation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math skills.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes regularly.
• Wittmann Robot experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Injection Molding Machines (preferably UBE Electric or Hydraulic).
• Monitor and maintain productivity improvements including cycle time reductions.
• Launch new molds and obtain first piece approval to engineering standards.
• Train team members to use procedures in day-to-day roles.
• Develop and implement well-managed mold change processes to optimize uptime.
• Train and mentor other team members.
• Maintain and organize work area and equipment.
• Communicate with previous shift and supervisors about issues.
