Job summary

Quintex Molding, LLC is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our Caldwell, Idaho team on a full-time night shift. You will perform mold changes, set up and start machines, and troubleshoot issues to keep production safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in injection molding, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to read setup sheets and basic drawings. Safety and quality are top priorities in our team-driven environment.

• Minimum 2 years of injection molding experience.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine startups.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read setup sheets and basic technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes safely and efficiently.
• Set up and start injection molding machines.
• Connect and verify water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical mold connections.
• Optimize machine settings to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and process-related issues.
• Verify first-piece inspections and assist Quality with production approvals.
• Monitor production runs and make process adjustments as necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds and auxiliary equipment.
• Complete setup documentation and production records accurately.
• Support machine operators and provide technical assistance during production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
