Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician III to support overnight manufacturing operations in Hanover Park, IL. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing high‑volume injection molding equipment and auxiliaries, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.

You will read drawings, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of electro‑mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.
• Injection molding experience preferred (plastics industry).
• Ability to troubleshoot up to 480V AC and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems, robotics, and molding machines.
• Perform mechanical repairs to maintain uptime.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using blueprints and schematics.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance routines.
• Calibrate equipment with specialized tools.
• Support changeovers and optimize molding parameters.
