Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Infeed Material Operator in Franklin Park, IL for the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am). Starting wage $20.87–$25.00 per hour plus shift differential, with benefits and growth opportunities.

You will support extrusion by managing material flow, troubleshooting blending systems, and ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to work 30' off the ground.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work standing or walking in a hot environment for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot material blending systems.
• Clean all material system filters, socks and canisters.
• Monitor regrind usage and adjust scrap management to goals.
• Maintain material flow to machines in the area.
• Complete all required paperwork and labeling.
• Communicate with the next shift and operators.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
