Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to guide patients through their care episodes with a Family Centered approach. You will assess needs, delegate tasks to LPNs, PCAs, and unit staff, and coordinate care to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, current CPR certification, and willingness to obtain additional certifications as directed by management. Light to moderate lifting and patient handling are involved.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Licensed RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS as required by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to care team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards and procedures.
