Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Co. in Sikeston, MO seeks an Industrial Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to manage and operate the central refrigeration system, supporting the Mix Room, production floor and utilities.

Communicate effectively across all plant levels and ensure timely coverage of the ammonia refrigeration system. Requirements include formal engineering training (preferred), ammonia refrigeration experience (preferred), a minimum of 3 years in related work, and ability to read P&ID/electrical

Qualifications

• Formal training in engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the central refrigeration system including ammonia engine room, boilers, pumps and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC and electrical problems and perform program changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot Process Instrumentation equipment and maintain process safety docs (PSM, JSA, SOP, PHA).
• Develop and follow MOC and Project Hazard analyses; seek productivity improvements and FI.
• Provide engineering support to Sikeston site and coordinate weekend maintenance tasks.
