Silgan Containers in California is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair our multi-technology can lines on a rotating night shift. You will troubleshoot close-tolerance mechanical systems and perform quality checks to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• 2+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic preferred but not required.
• Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify mechanical systems with close tolerances up to .0010.
• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Operate and maintain Silgan's can lines and document quality checks.
