Job summary

Altium Packaging in Dallas, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

The role requires 2+ years in plastics maintenance, basic math and computer skills, and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Applicants may be asked to operate blow mold or injection machines and work with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
