Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our RESRG Automotive facility in Covington, GA. This role focuses on repairs, PMs, and optimizing plant reliability on 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, 10:50 PM to 7:00 AM.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, operate CMMS maintenance connection, manage spare parts, and ensure safety and quality standards. A technical degree is preferred and overtime/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• The minimum two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical breakdowns.
• Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation.
• Experience reading hydraulic and electrical prints.
• Willing to work mandatory overtime and weekends.
• Willing and able to meet the physical requirements listed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state and federal OSHA codes and regulations.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Perform planned and unplanned repairs.
• Perform PMs on plant equipment.
• Maintain communication and keep work orders in CMMS (Maintenance Connection).
• Manage spare parts inventory activity.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
• Take ownership of company, plant, and department goals for quality, productivity and safety.
