Job summary
Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment. You will work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, with emphasis on automation, PLCs, and instrumentation in a fast paced, high production environment.
Responsibilities include performing PM and PdM, supporting equipment setup and changeovers, documenting work orders in SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance, and adhering to LOTO and
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Degree/Trade Certification OR 2+ years related maintenance experience.
- Ability to read electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to develop required technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhauls within close tolerances.
- Electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process and packaging equipment.
- Perform PMs and PdM with minimal guidance.
- Support Operations in equipment setup and changeover.
- Document Work Orders using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance.
- Engage in TPM theory and participate in pillar teams and train others.
- Follow LOTO, confined space and GMP safety requirements.
