Job summary

Pro Services Workforce Solutions has partnered with a cellulose insulation manufacturer in Jenison, MI to fill a direct hire Industrial Maintenance Technician role on 3rd shift. You will keep lines running, handle conveyors, maintenance tasks, and use MIG welding for enhancements.

You will work Sunday–Thursday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM with overtime; pay is $34–$36/hr plus a $2/hr shift premium. Safety, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving are core values on this team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic mechanical skills with conveyors, bearings, shafts and seals, gearboxes.
• MIG welding experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting including motor issues.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Clear, quick communication with production and supervisors.
• Ability to work 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the maintenance tech on 3rd shift, keeping the line running for a newer production crew.
• Handle everyday mechanical work on conveyors, rollers, bearings, shafts and gears.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, shredders, packaging lines, and robot cells.
• Use MIG welding for plant improvements and repairs (not structural).
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, hoses, O-rings, leaks; follow valve lights to diagnose.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues; use LOTO to replace components; monitor with HMI.
• Stay proactive between calls by walking lines, completing CMMS work orders, and coordinating with operators.
