Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Delmont, PA area.

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance across production and support equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The technician will perform PMs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, repair power transmission equipment, and document work in the MPulse CMMS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Maintenance Technology preferred, or HS Diploma with equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with MPulse or CMMS software is preferred.
• Familiarity with power transmission and related equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs), repairs, and project-based work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and test power transmission equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble production and support equipment with proper tools.
• Operate forklifts and move materials, adhering to weight restrictions.
• Work at heights up to 60 feet on silos and elevated platforms.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; fabricate basic brackets and fixtures.
• Document all work in the MPulse CMMS system; manage spare parts inventory.
• Suggest updates to CMMS inventory, PM tasks, and reporting structures.
• Contribute to 5S and continuous improvement activities.
