Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Delmont, PA facility. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks to minimize downtime.

You will read blueprints, fabricate basic components, and manage spare parts while following safety guidelines. Expect 3rd shift with potential for flexible hours based on production needs and safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or HS diploma with equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with MPulse or CMMS software.
• Familiarity with industrial power transmission and support equipment.
• Basic fabrication and welding skills.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Knowledge of quality control and measurement tools.
• Ability to read blueprints/diagrams.
• Excellent math and computer skills.
• History of safe working behavior and practices.
• Own and maintain a personal tool set.
• Willingness to work flexible or alternate shifts.
• Must be able to work up to 60 feet heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and best practices.
• Dispose of waste materials per standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and test power transmission equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment using appropriate tools.
• Operate forklifts and move materials within limits.
• Work at heights up to 60 feet and on elevated platforms.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fabricate brackets, supports, and fixtures.
• Construct scaffolding and ladders for tasks.
• Document all PMs, repairs, and projects in MPulse CMMS.
• Manage spare parts inventory and requisitions.
• Suggest updates to CMMS inventory/PM tasks.
• Assist in design/upgrade/modification with teams/contractors.
• Provide feedback to improve maintenance processes.
• Perform maintenance during planned/unplanned downtime.
• Participate in 5S, housekeeping, and TPEM activities.
