Job summary

Versatex is seeking an Industrial B Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on-site. The role demands experience in PM tasks, safe operation of forklifts, and adherence to lockout/tagout and SOPs.

Strong communication and math skills are required. Qualifications include a 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years in industrial maintenance, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Completion of the Maintenance Training Program.
• Must pass the Versatex Forklift Training Program.
• Computer proficiency for logging and ordering parts.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout protocols.
• 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, plant, and machine maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Mandatory 480V electrical experience.
• Familiarity with forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Report issues to A+ Maintenance.
• Read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.
• Perform basic Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Report machine/equipment issues.
• Follow OSHA and Versatex safety guidelines.
• Care for tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to develop skills.
• Report and address machine issues to prevent unsafe operations.
• Suggest cost-saving measures.
• Reports to the Sr. Maintenance Supervisor.
