Job summary

Versatex is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the night shift to keep our facilities' equipment reliable and safe. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, and operate forklifts following SOPs.

The role requires a 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, plus forklift certification, lockout/tagout knowledge, and strong teamwork. Regular overtime may be needed.

Description

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

Major Purpose: Ensure all equipment in the facility is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently daily. This role requires proficiency in Preventive Maintenance tasks and skills in Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Mechanical systems. Must be able to safely operate forklifts while following Versatex's Best Practices and SOPs.

Qualification Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic proficiency.

Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication.

Training: Completion of the Maintenance Training Program.

Forklift Certification: Must pass the Versatex Forklift Training Program.

Technical Skills: Computer proficiency for logging and ordering parts.

Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with lockout/tagout protocols.

Experience:

2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years in industrial maintenance.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Long periods of standing and walking on cement.

Regular lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds; frequent lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.

Use of personal protective equipment as required.
