Job summary

Conagra Brands in Quincy, Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair machinery used in making Hebrew National Hot Dogs.

This role requires 1+ year in manufacturing, experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, and a solid understanding of Lean principles. Shift is 9:00 PM–5:00 AM with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical/electrical drive or control systems.
• Experience supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Basic computer experience (2 years preferred).
• Current work history with at least 1 year of recent employment.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to production and facility equipment.
• Support predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Work across multiple maintenance disciplines based on operational needs.
• Respond to equipment alerts and communicate using radio systems.
• Walk the facility to complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP requirements.
• Maintain consistent attendance, work scheduled shifts, and support overtime needs.
