Job summary

Mizkan America, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for our Owensboro, Kentucky (Ragu) sauce plant.

The role is on-site, twelve-hour night shifts, reporting to the shift supervisor, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and TPM-driven improvements across high-speed packaging lines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with five years of industrial maintenance experience, be able to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to vocational or high school education plus five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Willingness to participate in company training and self-study toward skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and basic control circuitry.
• Set up and operate machine tools; align bearings and adjust feeds.
• Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and SOPs.
