Job summary

The Mechanic at Mizkan America Inc. in Owensboro, Kentucky (Ragu) sauce plant will work on a high-speed manufacturing line. This on-site, full-time role reports to the shift supervisor and operates on a twelve-hour night shift.

Responsibilities include PM, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities within a collaborative team environment. Physical demands and safety compliance are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Vocational or high school education with five years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Willingness to participate in company training programs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in line with Mizkan safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP, and SOP.
• Safely conduct preventative maintenance through machinery inspection.
• Repair and improve equipment as needed.
• Apply lubrication techniques to machinery.
• Set up and operate machine tools and align bearings and shafts.
• Lead TPM continuous improvement efforts in the manufacturing area.
• Support and participate in pre-shift meetings for the area.
