Job summary

John A Biewer Co Inc in Prentice, WI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Lubrication Technician to perform hands-on lubrication, preventive maintenance, and basic machine service to ensure reliability of sawmill equipment.

This full-time role covers meeting schedules, coordinating with maintenance and operations, handling inventory of lubricants, and adhering to safety policies, with a rotating 12-hour shift from 6pm to 6am and a $1.50 shift premium for hours from 3pm to 3am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge and experience as a lube technician.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, impacts, etc.
• General lumber knowledge such as board sizing and quality terminology/requirements.
• Industrial/manufacturing work setting.
• Able to work at high elevations.
• Previous experience operating similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate and service sawmill equipment daily.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Maintain fluid levels and replace filters and breathers on reservoirs.
• Coordinate inventory and ordering of lubricants and related products.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to maximize machine performance.
