Job summary

Novolex is recruiting an Electrician to support Carrollton, TX operations. You will perform electrical maintenance, wiring, and PLC-related troubleshooting for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have an associate degree or certification, hands-on electrical experience, and knowledge of 120/277/480V systems. Night shift offers a $1.50 premium and weekly schedule Wednesday–Saturday 7:00pm–7:00am.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or Industrial Maintenance Certification, or 3 years as industrial electrician.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (120/277/480V, 3-phase).
• PLC experience: Allen Bradley RSLogix is a plus.
• VFD, DC and Servo drives experience.
• 4-20 mA loops, positioning feedback, analog controls.
• Temp control systems knowledge.
• Electrical systems maintenance knowledge.
• Lock Out Tag Out procedures familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems across 120/277/480V and 3-phase.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, Allen Bradley RSLogix is a plus.
• Operate and troubleshoot VFD, DC and servo drives.
• Maintain 4-20 mA loops and analog controls.
• Ensure temperature control systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Follow OSHA/NFPA/NEC safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Read schematics and ladder logic; use digital multimeters.
• Support 5S and Lean practices in the workplace.
