Job summary

Novolex, a leading packaging manufacturer, is seeking an Electrician for Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule. The position offers competitive pay and shift differential, with duties including diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing high-voltage electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities cover wiring installation, testing, and maintenance, along with PLCs, drives, and related electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of high-voltage systems experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with AC/DC drives and PLCs.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and Ohm's law, and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate causes using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, and code compliance.
• Repair or replace wiring and equipment with hand/power tools.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Test continuity with meters and oscilloscopes to ensure safety.
